아더캠 개인정보처리방침

아더캠(이하 "앱")은 업무 사진처럼 '내 것이 아닌 사진'을 폰 사진첩과 따로, 이 앱 안에만 보관하는 카메라 앱입니다. 앱에는 서버가 없고, 앱 제작자는 사용자의 개인정보를 받거나 보관하지 않습니다.

1. 기기 밖으로 나가지 않는 정보

• 앱으로 찍거나 옮겨 온 사진·영상, 그 안의 촬영 시각·위치(GPS), 계정(공간) 이름과 앱 설정은 모두 사용자의 기기 안, 이 앱 전용 저장공간에만 저장됩니다.
• 이 정보는 앱 제작자에게 전송되지 않습니다. 계정에 들어 있는 사진·영상은 Google 백업·iCloud 백업에도 포함되지 않습니다. 다만 Android에서 새 폰으로 직접 옮기기(기기 간 전송)를 하면 앱 정보가 새 폰으로 함께 옮겨질 수 있습니다.
• iOS에서 사진 앱의 '공유 → 아더캠'으로 넘긴 사진·영상은 아더캠을 열 때까지 이 앱 전용 공유 공간에 잠시 보관되고, 앱을 열어 계정에 넣으면 바로 지워집니다. 공유 화면에 계정 목록을 보여 주기 위해 계정 이름 목록도 같은 공간에 둡니다. 이 공간은 기기의 iCloud 백업에 포함될 수 있습니다.
• 사용자가 직접 '공유', '사진 앱으로 내보내기', '지도에서 보기'(사진의 위치를 지도 앱으로 보냄)를 누른 경우에만, 사용자가 고른 곳(메신저, 에어드랍, 폰 사진 앱, 지도 앱 등)으로 파일이나 정보가 전달됩니다. 이후의 처리는 해당 서비스의 방침을 따릅니다.

2. 앱이 요청하는 권한과 이유

• 카메라·마이크: 사진·영상 촬영(영상 소리 녹음).
• 위치: 찍은 사진에 촬영 위치를 표준 EXIF 정보로 기록하기 위해. 위치는 사진 파일 안에만 저장됩니다.
• 사진·동영상(폰 사진첩): 폰 사진첩이나 사진 앱 공유로 고른 사진을 앱으로 옮겨 오기 위해. 원본에 담긴 촬영 위치를 그대로 유지하고, 옮긴 사진과 같은 원본을 찾아 사용자가 확인한 뒤에만 폰의 휴지통('최근 삭제된 항목')으로 보냅니다. 휴지통의 원본은 폰에서 일정 기간(보통 30일) 안에 되살릴 수 있습니다. 이를 위해 앱 안 고르기 화면에 폰 사진첩 목록을 보여 주고, 옮긴 사진과 똑같은 원본을 찾으려고 크기·찍은 시각이 비슷한 사진을 기기 안에서만 비교합니다. 비교에 쓴 다른 사진은 저장하거나 지우거나 기기 밖으로 보내지 않습니다. iCloud 사진에만 있는 원본은 옮기기·비교를 위해 Apple의 iCloud에서 내려받을 수 있습니다.
• 사진 앱에 추가: 사용자가 '사진 앱으로 내보내기'를 누른 항목의 복사본을 폰 사진 앱에 저장하기 위해.
• 생체 인증·기기 암호: 사용자가 앱 잠금을 켠 경우에만. 인증은 기기(Android·iOS)가 처리하며, 앱은 지문·얼굴 정보를 받지 않습니다.

권한은 거절해도 앱의 나머지 기능은 쓸 수 있습니다.

3. 광고

앱은 사진 목록 화면에 Google AdMob 배너 광고를 표시합니다. 광고를 위해 Google이 다음 정보를 수집·처리할 수 있습니다.

• 광고 식별자(Android 광고 ID 등), 기기 정보(기종·OS·언어 등)
• IP 주소를 바탕으로 한 대략적인 위치
• 광고 노출·클릭 등 광고와 앱 사용 정보, 오류 진단 정보

사진·영상과 그 안의 정확한 위치, 계정 이름은 광고에 쓰이지 않으며 Google에 전달되지 않습니다. 유럽경제지역·영국 등 동의가 필요한 지역에서는 광고를 표시하기 전에 동의를 묻고, 이후 사진 목록 화면 메뉴의 '광고 개인정보 설정'에서 언제든 바꿀 수 있습니다. iOS 1.0 빌드 3부터는 사진 목록에 처음 들어갈 때 광고 동의 화면과 광고 SDK 시작 전에 Apple의 추적 허용창(ATT)을 표시합니다. 허용한 경우에만 광고 식별자(IDFA)를 맞춤형 광고와 광고 효과 측정에 사용할 수 있습니다. 거부하거나 추적이 제한된 경우에는 광고 개인 맞춤화와 게시자 퍼스트 파티 ID를 비활성화하고 비맞춤형 광고를 요청합니다. 추적을 허용하지 않아도 촬영·보관·편집·공유 기능을 사용할 수 있으며, iOS 설정에서 추적 허용 여부를 바꿀 수 있습니다. 지역별 광고 동의는 ATT와 별도로 적용됩니다. Google의 정보 처리는 Google 파트너 사이트 정책과 Google 개인정보처리방침을 따릅니다. Android 사용자는 기기 설정에서 광고 ID를 재설정하거나 삭제할 수 있습니다.

4. 보관과 삭제

모든 정보는 사용자의 기기에만 있으므로, 앱에서 계정(공간)을 삭제하면 그 안의 사진·영상이 지워지고, 앱을 삭제하면 앱의 모든 정보가 함께 지워집니다. 앱 제작자가 따로 보관하는 개인정보는 없어 별도의 삭제 요청 절차가 필요하지 않습니다.

5. 아동

앱은 만 13세 미만(일부 지역은 해당 법정 연령 미만) 아동을 대상으로 하지 않습니다.

OtherCam Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 22, 2026 · Operator: sikidev · Applies to the OtherCam (아더캠) apps for Android and iOS

OtherCam ("the app") is a camera app that keeps photos that aren't really yours, like work photos, inside the app only, separate from your phone's photo library. The app has no server, and the developer does not receive or keep any of your personal data.

1. Data that stays on your device

• Photos and videos you take or import, the capture time and location (GPS) stored in them, your account (space) names and app settings are stored only on your device, in the app's private storage.
• This data is never sent to the developer. Photos and videos in your accounts are excluded from Google backup and iCloud backup. However, on Android, a direct phone-to-phone transfer to a new device may copy the app's data to the new phone.
• On iOS, photos and videos you send with Share → OtherCam from the Photos app are kept briefly in the app's private shared space until you open OtherCam, and are deleted as soon as they are added to an account. To show your accounts on the share screen, the list of account names is kept in the same space. This space may be included in your iCloud device backup.
• A file or information leaves the app only when you tap Share, Export to Photos or View on map (which sends the photo's location to a map app) yourself, and only to the destination you choose (messaging apps, AirDrop, your phone's photo app, a map app, etc.). From then on, that service's policy applies.

2. Permissions and why the app asks for them

• Camera and microphone: to take photos and videos (with sound).
• Location: to record where a photo was taken as standard EXIF data inside the photo file only.
• Photos and videos (photo library): to move photos you pick, in the app or by sharing from your photo app, into OtherCam. The original's location data is kept, and the matching original is moved to your phone's trash ("Recently Deleted") only after you confirm. You can restore it from the trash on your phone for a limited time (usually 30 days). To do this, the app shows your photo library in its picker and, to find the exact original, compares photos of similar size and capture time on your device only. Other photos used for this comparison are never saved, deleted or sent anywhere. Originals stored only in iCloud Photos may be downloaded from Apple's iCloud for importing and comparison.
• Add to Photos: to save a copy of the items you choose to export to your phone's photo app.
• Biometrics / device passcode: only if you turn on the app lock. Authentication is handled by Android or iOS; the app never receives your fingerprint or face data.

If you deny a permission, you can still use the rest of the app.

3. Ads

The app shows Google AdMob banner ads on the photo list screen. To serve ads, Google may collect and process:

• Advertising identifiers (such as the Android advertising ID) and device information (model, OS, language, etc.)
• Approximate location based on IP address
• Ad and app interaction data such as impressions and clicks, and diagnostic data

Your photos, videos, their precise location and your account names are never used for ads or shared with Google. In regions that require consent, such as the EEA and the UK, the app asks for consent before displaying ads, and you can change it anytime under "Ad privacy settings" in the photo list menu. Starting with iOS version 1.0 build 3, the app displays Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) request on the first visit to the photo list, before the advertising consent form and advertising SDK initialization. Only with authorization may the advertising identifier (IDFA) be used for personalized ads and ad performance measurement. If tracking is denied or restricted, ad personalization and publisher first-party ID are disabled and non-personalized ads are requested. You can still capture, store, edit, and share photos without allowing tracking, and you can change tracking authorization in iOS Settings. Regional advertising consent requirements apply separately from ATT. Google's processing is governed by How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy. On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.

4. Retention and deletion

All data lives only on your device. Deleting an account (space) in the app deletes its photos and videos, and uninstalling the app deletes all of its data. The developer keeps no personal data, so no separate deletion request is needed.

The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age in your region).
